Graveside services for Mr. Lloyd Bennett, age 78, are scheduled for 3 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Corinth Baptist Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bennett passed away early Tuesday in Jackson. He was born September 3, 1937 in Aurora, IL . He was a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran, and retired from the U. S. Army after 23 years of service. He was a member of Beech Lake Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Shirley Bennett and one son, Robert Metcalf. Survivors include his wife of 6 years, Mrs. Diana Marie Bennett; his son, Sidney Ray Bennett; one grandson, Brandon Ray Bennett; and several brothers and sisters.
