James Ray McCullar was born February 11, 1952 the son of the late Robert Earl and Roberta Goolsby McCullar. He departed this life on May 19, 2015 in Selmer, TN at the age of 63 Years, 3 Months, 8 Days.
Mr. McCullar was a retired Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. He grew up in this area but had lived in various areas of the country to accomodate his work.
He and his family came full circle when they moved to Bethel Springs approximately 10 years ago.
Mr. McCullar was an Elder at Christ Fellowship Church in Trenton, TN. His family and church were very important aspects of his life. One of his enjoyments was deer hunting.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn McCullar of Bethel Springs, TN; two daughters, Connie Frazier of Middleton, TN, Bonita Somers and husband Terry of Finger, TN; a son, Daniel McCullar of Bethel Springs, TN; three grandsons, Joseph Berryhill, Terry Somers Jr., Robert Frazier; a brother, Jacky McCullar of Selmer, TN; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McCullar was preceded in death by a sister, Coy Foust; two brothers, Johnny McCullar and Jerry McCullar.
