burlinBurlin Ray James, 73, of Rogersville died May 18th, 2015 at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was a retired truck driver of over 40 years with the CB handle, “Jesse James”. He loved to travel and was an avid Alabama fan.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 6 – 8 PM at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11 AM at Rogersville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery with Randall Moore and Mike Lee officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dakota James, Justin James, David Thompson, Donny Davis, David Rogers and Josh Brown.
Burlin was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Annie Bell James and brothers, Bobby and Jim James. He is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Margaret Elaine James; sons, Tim (Shelley) James and Randy (Tammy) James; grandchildren, Tiffany Rozzelle, Amber James (Josh Brown), Justin (Jessica) James, Ashlee James, Marquetta Brown, Dakota James and Anabella James; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Camden, Eli, Aden, Cazz, Lillee and Millee; sisters, Dale Leplow and Peggy (Wiley) Rogers; numerous nieces & nephews.
