Raymond Eugene McDonald, 80, of Toney passed away Monday at his residence. Mr. McDonald was a retired life insurance professional and a member of LUTC and LUTCF, having held all offices in both. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one grandson: Daniel Meagher. Survivors include his wife of 59 years: Shelby Jean McDonald; one daughter: Alesa (Jody) Meagher; one granddaughter: Brandi (Richie) Walker; two sisters: Doris (James) Stewart and Pauline (Travis) Raney and three great-grandchildren: Hunter, Emma and Tate Walker. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike McFarlen officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, AL with Berryhill Funeral Home directing. The family would like to extend special thanks to Chrystel Thomas, Kissinger Jones and Doug Simons.
