Nola Pickens Coker, 81, of Florence passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Elkins with Bro. Henry Melton officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Cemetery.
Mrs. Coker worked for ECM as a Laundry Attendant for 30 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Grace Pickens; son, Freddie Michael; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Grace and Maxwell Levi; and three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her children, Angela Howell, Vicky Letson, Sabrina McGee, and Dewayne Coker; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sarah Crosswhite.
Pallbearers will be David Pickens, George Pickens, C. David Pickens, William McGee, Kenneth Coker, and Jackie Staggs.
