Jeffery William Creel, age 57, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born October 20, 1957 to Henry Mack Creel and Frances Alberta Pike Creel. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Mack Creel; grandparents, Homer and Ruth Pike and Matthew Anderson Creel, and Geneva Rochelle Creel.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday May 12, 2015 at the funeral home from 6-9 pm.
He is survived by his mother Frances Alberta and husband Gilbert Lambert; brother, Greg Creel, nephews, Wyatt Creel (Heather), Matthew Creel (Jennifer); great nieces; Kayla Canett and McKenzie Creel. He has a host of extended family members and friends.
Mr. Creel graduated from East Limestone High School and Athens State College. He has worked the last 19 years at Bradford’s Furniture in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Westend United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir. Jeff was an avid reader and enjoyed singing. He loved entertaining his family and friends with his storytelling.
Pallbearers will be: Matthew Creel, William Pike, Freddy Hood, Michael Lambert, Greg Lambert, Roddie Lott, William Parker, and Mark Stephens.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Mr. Creel.
