Funeral service for Melvin H. “Mac” McAnally, 89, will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Owens officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Body will lie in state at the Church prior to service. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Church.
Mr. McAnally died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born July 10, 1925, in Morgan County to Marcus L. McAnally and Mary Isabell Edmondson McAnally. He operated a small engine repair shop in Somerville. and worked for Fruehauf as a fork-truck operator before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife: Wilma Fay McMinemon McAnally and his parents.
