Eura Mae Runge, 83, of Falkville, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born June 16, 1931, to Jesse and Noma Kuykendall.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Odis Runge; and brothers, Dennis and Donald Kuykendall.
Eura Mae is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Dan) Hix of Birmingham, Tammy (Steve) Corley of West Point; her sons, Bobby (Brenda) Runge of Niceville, FL, Ferrell (Sheila) Runge of Falkville, Bruce (Teresa) Runge of Falkville, James (Brenda) Runge of Arab, David (Mindy) Runge of Falkville; 16 grandchildren Mark, Werner, Dwana, Christian, Erik, Kara, Sara, David, Leah, Jessie, Angela, Bryan, Scott, Austin, Leann and Scarlett; a host of great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A member of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church for 60 years, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and friend. She loved spending time with her family and friends, fishing, flowers and watching birds. Her devotion to her family was a constant in her life. She will be greatly missed, but will continue to inspire us all.
The family would like to give a special “thank you” to the second floor staff at Cullman Rehab.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at Moss Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home with family graveside service following at Union Hill Cemetery.
