Susie Williamson Hughes, 89, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, Ben F. Hughes Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Bennie Hughes, Laurie Smith, Trinda Hatfield (Terry), and Leslie Johnson (Gerald); sister, Margaret Ray; grandchildren, Paul Porter (Deanna), Matt Hatfield (Andrea), Laura Smith (Chris), Daniel, Ben, Jordan, and Caleb Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Kayla and Brooke Hatfield.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to JDRF, the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund, or a favorite charity.
