Timothy W. Hammond, 62, of Lexington died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his residence. He was a graduate of Lexington High School and a carpenter by trade.
Visitation will be Friday from 12 – 2 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Oneal Bailey and Charles Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Grassy Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Warden, Chad Hammond, Kevin Smith, Chris Rickman, Jamie Grissom and Steven Potts.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Hammond; brother, Rex Hammond; sister, Kim Hammond Ingles. He is survived by his children, Shana Hammond, Chad Hammond, Kyla (William) Warden and Bree (Kevin) Smith; wife, Frances Alexander; father, Curtis Oneal (Nancy) Hammond; step-children, Vicki and Rhonda; a brother, sister and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
