Curtis Lynn Royster, 57 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at his home.
Born Wednesday, December 11, 1957 in Huntsville, Alabama, he was the son of the late Glenard Royster and the late Wilma Brock Royster. He was a lifelong resident of the Athens area and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids.
Surviving are his wife: Connie Barnes Royster of Elkmont, AL, son, Heath Royster of Athens, AL, step-son: Justin Blaydes of Athens, AL, daughter, Jennifer (Phillip) Turner of Athens, AL, step-daughter: Heather Robertson of Athens, AL, brothers: Dale Royster of Athens, AL, and Roger Royster of Rogersville, AL, sister, Deborah (Gene) Garner of Elkmont, AL and grandchildren: Ali Royster, Preston Robertson, Jordan Blaydes, Madelyn Turner, Madison Faulk, Brock Turner, and Kyle Blaydes.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
