BOAZ-A body has been found in Etowah County just off of Cove Springs Road. The body was found in a shallow grave and has not been identified. According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office they received a tip about the body and discovered the shallow grave Tuesday night.
The tip came to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office saying the body could be connected to the woman who was reported missing on April 1st from Marshall County. The connection between the missing woman and the body found in Etowah County cannot be confirmed pending identification.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is heading up this investigation.
