Heaven gained a perfect angel, Sherry Mae Weaver Highfield, Monday, April 06, 2015.
Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother George Lee officiating.
Burial will follow in Allsboro Cemetery, Cherokee.
Sherry was a native of Colbert County and a member of Park Terrace Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mae Weaver, brother, Robert Weaver, sister, Mary Alice Clement and son-in-law, Jackie Beaver.
Survivors include her husband, Almon Junior Highfield; daughters, Donna Bendall (Rick), Tina Beaver; brother Arthur Weaver, sister, Lydia Gail Stockman; grandchildren, Brittany Myrick(Adam) Casey Bendall (Jessica) Nicky Beaver (Christy), Keith Beaver, six great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Pallbearers are Casey Bendall, Adam Myrick, Keith Beaver, Nicky Beaver, Jason Bendall, Shaun Moss, Lamar Lewis and Dan Coggins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
