Mr. Flatt was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio and a member of Ramah Missionary Baptist Church. He was a minister in the Missionary Baptist Faith and a musician of blue grass gospel. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Loretto Memorial Chapel. with Mike Poff & Mark Nelson officiating. Burial to follow in Pettus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Survivors include: Wife- Pearlene Flatt of Leoma, TN; 1 Daughter- Patricia Ann Nix & husband Ricky of Tuscumbia, AL; 1 Grandchild- Chris Stowe & wife Nancy of Tuscumbia, AL; 3 Grandchildren- Hayden, Garrett, & McKenna; 2 Sisters- Geneva Chance & husband Kenneth of Athens, AL; Burnaze Swanner & husband Buford of Athens, AL; Several Nieces & Nephews; Preceded in death by: Parents- John Lafayette Flatt & Moni Lillian Bobo Flatt; The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. True & Dr. Rhuland for their care & compassion
