July 17, 1934-March 22, 2015 Lowell W. Davis Sr., formerly of Florence, passed away at his home Sunday, March 22, after an extended illness, surrounded by family.
Lowell was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jordan Davis, daughter, Stephanie Davis Turner, and stepson, Randy Bertline.
Survivors include wife of 21 years, Norma; brother, Leon (Faye); daughter, Sabrina Davis Harris (Bobby); sons, Jim Davis and Chip Davis; adopted daughter, Darlene Austin; stepdaughters, Tammy Hay and Suzanne Dawson; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Brandy, Kristen, and Teresa of Amedisys Hospice for their loving care as well as the Blood and Cancer Center.
A private memorial will be held for family and friends.
