Charles Howard Turbyfill – Obituary

Charles Howard Turbyfill, 79, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Helen Keller Hospital.

Mr. Turbyfill lived all his life in Franklin County and was a member and deacon at Rockwood Baptist Church. He was retired from TVA, was a member of VFW and enjoyed blue grass music. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Alabama National Guard for 38 years.

The funeral service will be Monday, March 23, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at Rockwood Baptist Church with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating will be Kris Green, Jerry Hester and Frank Billingham. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, March 22, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Turbyfill.

He was preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Jessie Turbyfill; and son, Benjamin Turbyfill.
