Mr. Ernest Dwayne Meeks, 55, went home to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior at his home surrounded by his loving family Friday morning March 20, 2015. He was employed at Rock Tenn Paper Mill for 30 years up until his health declined. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on Novmeber 20, 1959.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Pamela Henry Meeks; mother, Gladys Ross; father, Richard Meeks; sons, Jared and Ethan Meeks; daughters, Rebecca Meeks, Sarah (David) Brown, Brittany (Travis) Barrett; brother, Tim (Katie) Meeks; sister, Cheryl Meeks; grandchildren, Paul Allen Wise, Abagael Parker, Westyn, Jaxyn, Koltyn and Arabella Barrett, Elizabeth Brown; father and mother-in-law, Hobert and Willie Henry; brother-in-law, Austin (Wendy) Henry; sister-in-laws, Jennifer (Corey) Puck and Beverly McCaughey; several loving niece and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, John Potts and Brett Meeks officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM Friday, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
