Bertha E. Beam, 94, of Pulaski, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Alookaran officiating. Friday there will be a Rosary service at 5 p.m. and visitation from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Beam was born February 11, 1921, in Portage, WI, to August Kirschling and Antionette Korda Kirschling. She was in active military in World War II. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, and member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church since 1967. She married Harold Beam October 1, 1945, and they were married for 64 years.
Mrs. Beam is survived by five sons, Jay Beam and wife, JoAnne, of Minor Hill, TN, Gary Beam and wife, Linda, of Austin, TX, Bill Beam and wife, Shelia, of Somerville, Harold Beam Jr. of Athens, Greg Beam and wife, Connie, of Athens; one brother, Greg Kirschling of Stevens Point, WI; one sister, Anne Sweeny of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
