Cecil M. Beasley, 91, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born September 23, 1923, to Curtis and Willie Lota Wheeler Beasley. He was retired from Day-Brite and was a Baptist in belief. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday, March 17, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Danny Rushing officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Steven Beasley of Indianpolis, IN; two brothers, David Beasley (Janet) and Joe Beasley, both of Sherman; three sisters, Joy Moore of Smithville, Shirley Harlow of Plantersville, and Annie Parchman of Shannon; one granddaughter; four step-granddaughters, Pam Norris (Brendan) of Guntown, Donna Stephens and Missy Barrett both of Mooreville, and Kristi Pope of Fulton; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Beasley; one daughter, Vickey Beasley; three step-sons, Wayne, Bobby, and Jimmy Barrett; two brothers, W.C. and A.B. Beasley; one sister, Winnie Mae Dulaney; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Curt Umfress, Kevin Beasley, Leonard Beasley, Eric Hutcheson, Chad Hutcheson, and Michael Kelly.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 16, at the funeral home.
