Jerry H. Posey, age 57 of Tuscumbia, passed away on March 11th, 2015. His visitation will be Friday, March 13th, 2015 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Beasley officiating. Interment will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Jerry was a native of Colbert County and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and the Operating Engineers Local 320. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lou Posey.
He is survived by his son, Jackson Posey; brothers, Ricky and Jeff Posey; sisters, Joan Stout, Claudette Hogeland, Barbara Romans, and Regena Thompson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but never forgotten.
Keith Clark, Jay Posey, Brandon Romans, Dane Hogeland and Chris Hogeland and Joey Thompson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be, Buford Romans, Sambo Hogeland, Nick Looney, Kenneth Thompson, and Rodney Hogeland.
