Joseph Hunter Underwood, age 48, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, and a member of Henryville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Alexander Newell; and grandparents, Sam & Pauline Hunter and Troy & Merle Newell.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015, with Mickey Brackin officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests donations be made to Neal Funeral Home in memory of Joseph Hunter Underwood.
