Mary Joe Snoddy, 80, of Anderson died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at her residence.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson, a retired cosmetologist and had a love for sewing and cooking.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Anderson. Funeral service will follow immediately at the church with J.D. Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rick Stevens, Mitch Coffman, Chad Pickett, Glenn Aderholt, Larry Sinyard and Tony Davis.
Mrs. Snoddy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joel Snoddy. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Williams of Florence and Jennifer (Rick) Stevens of Sarasota, FL; granddaughters, Celeste (Mitch) Coffman of Florence and Meredith (Chad) Pickett of Tuscumbia; great-granddaughter, Harper Coffman; sister, Jimmie Lou Klein of Cleveland, OH; sister-in-law, Mavis Snoddy of Cleveland, OH; special caregiver, Donna Word and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.
