Linda Frances Thorn, 71, of Antioch, Tennessee, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Alabama and worked in food service for 40 years. She was a member of the church of Christ in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
Services will be today at noon at Harmony Baptist Church, Red Bay, Alabama, with Brother Charles Lansdell and Brother Nathaniel Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Site Cemetery, Red Bay, Alabama. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one brother, David R. Thorn (Jona), Cherokee, Alabama; two nieces, Katie Thorn Dennis (Frank), Nashville, Tennessee, and Sarah Thorn, San Antonio, Texas; two nephews, Matthew Thorn, San Antonio, Texas, and Russ Thorn, Cherokee, Alabama; and one great-nephew, Johnathan Dennis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Betty Ruth Petree Thorn.
Pallbearers will be Norman Thorn, Herman Trulove, Randy Holland, Tom Wingfield, Frank Dennis, and Joe Burns.
Visitation will be today, 10 a.m. to noon, at Harmony Baptist Church.
