Morgan County Man Indicted By Grand Jury On Charges Of Rape First-Degree

MORGAN COUNTY-The Morgan County Special Victms Unit has made an arrst in a rape case.  Here is how Sheriff Ana Franklin describes the arrest:

“The Morgan County Special Victims Unit, with the Morgan County Deputies arrested William Chris Nelms, 40 years old, white male on February 18, 2015. His arrest was based off of a grand jury indictment for “Rape 1st, Sodomy 1st, Sex Abuse 1st, and Sex Abuse of a Child under the Age of 12 years old.” William Chris Nelms was placed in the Morgan County Jail.
His bond is set at $100,000.
In addition to the above charges, Nelms was also arrested for non-support of a child, with a purge amount of $16,771.44.”
