Funeral service for Billy R. Brinkley, 74, will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Shaddix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Brinkley died on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 8, 1940, in Morgan County to Arthur “Bill” Brinkley and Myrtle Roberts Brinkley. He was retired from EFP South Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial donations to the Priceville Volunteer Fire Department at 242 Marco Drive, Decatur, Al 35603.

My son was in the accident that led to Mr. Brinkley death. My son was not injured and we just found out about his passing. My Grandfather passed in a horrible vehicle accident as well, our families thoughts and prayers are with his family. So sorry for your loss.
