Joann Morris Shoemaker, 72, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015, at her residence. She was born August 8, 1942 to the late Walter Morris and the late Dorothy Raines. She enjoyed working crossword and word find books, putting together puzzles. She was a very good cook and was an avid cook book collector. She loved her dog Rebel.
Survivors include two Daughters, Teresa Holcomb of Fulton, Loretta Worcester of Tupelo, Son, David Harper of Pontotoc, two step daughters, Kathy Carrier of Statesville, NC, and Gay Connolly of Statesville, NC, 8 Grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, Brother, Ronnie Raines of New Port, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus G. Shoemaker, her parents, Son, Mark Allen Harper, Aunt, Eulala Drake.
