Billy Joe Hale, 80, returned to his heavenly home on February 21, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Billy is survived by his son Christopher, his wife Felicia and their children, Brice and Blaine; and his son Philip, his wife Betsy and their children, Tyler, Kaitlin, Emily, Will and Ben; his brother Norman (Spencer) Hale; his sister Faynell Powell; nieces, nephews and extended family. Billy was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all.
Billy loved his church and worked as an engineer for General Electric for over 25 years.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 24. Funeral services for Billy will be at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle, AL on Wednesday, February 25 at 1:00 PM. Billy will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens in Hartselle, AL.
