Brian J. Waters, 48, of Rogersville passed away, Friday, February 20th,
2015 to his Almighty Father on a crisp pre-dawn Alabama winter morning, full of grace and serenity after a nearly 6 month battle with cancer surrounded by family members and loved ones.
He was the much loved son of an ex-Marine father and homemaker mother; brother of five siblings; influential father figure to his step-daughter; boyfriend of his new-found love; and dearly missed leader of his employees and partner of his colleagues at Sherwin-Williams.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 from 6 – 9 p.m.
at Rogersville Funeral Home, Rogersville, Alabama.
Funeral mass will be Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Saint Paul Catholic Church in Athens, Alabama with Father Charley Alookaran officiating.
Interment will follow in Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence and Jean Allie and Mr. & Mrs. Frank and Alice Waters; mother, Joy Jean Waters; and uncle, Clarence “Bro” Allie.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Sarah Nicole Weems; father, Frank John Waters, Jr.; siblings, Michael John Waters, David Joseph Waters, Cynthia Jean Merkel, Christopher Jason Waters, Elizabeth Joy Downey; and girlfriend, Amber Suzanne Coleman.
