Gertrude Edwards, 96, of Muscle Shoals died Friday, February 13, 2015.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Elkins Funeral Home from 1-2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Rev. George Riddle officiating. Burial will be at Barton Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards was a member of Annapolis Avenue Church of Christ. She was a hair dresser for many years. She loved her little Yorkie “Darby” Bill and Vicki White.
Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Gertrude Inman; husband, James W. Edwards; sister, Glady F. Downey; brother, Ernest H. Inman.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by sister, Katie “Will” Coker; brother, Eugene Hap Inman; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bill White, Jimmy Edwards, Bob Wray, Bert Inman, Marvin Gruber, and Jarrod Lindley. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Coker and Tom Wideman.
