Wilma Jean Mitchell, 73, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Billy Thorn will be officiating.
She was preceded in death by her father, Winford Nichols; mother, Glyness Ford Nichols; and sister, Martha Nichols McGee.
Survivors are husband, Elmer Ingram Mitchell; sons, Lin Tidwell (Jack), Ben Tidwell (Rhonda), Mark E. Tidwell (Tammie), Nathan Ingram Mitchell (Cheryl); daughter, Suzanne Mitchell Mayo (Wayne); sisters, Dean Glover (John) and Shelia Springer (Joe); nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Josh Mitchell, Tyler Tidwell, Jerrod Tidwell, Todd Martin, Dustin Smith, Derrick Gargis, James Osborn and Randy Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Nichols and Austin Roberts.
