Funeral service for Stella Crowe George, 88, of Hartselle will be today, February 7, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Earl Holt officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. George, who died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, was born March 23, 1926, in Morgan County to Gideon and Mary Makemson. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to her family and God. She was preceded in death by her husband, John David Crowe; three brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include one son, David Lee Crowe (Kristi); two daughters, Brenda Crowe Lindsay (Houston) and Sandra Crowe Beavers; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
