Katie Ruth Faulk, 78 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Monday, February 2, 2015, at Limestone Health Facility in Athens, Alabama.
Born Saturday, August 22, 1936 in Ardmore, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Ben Lee McCown and the late Mamie Estelle Landers McCown. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and loved flower gardening and hummingbirds. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: George Edward Faulk, and sons: Steven Marlin Faulk and Charles David Faulk.
Surviving are sons: George Michael Faulk of Ardmore, AL, Toby Randell Faulk of Ardmore, TN and Glenn Scott Faulk of Ardmore, TN, brothers: Burbon McCown of Roseville, MI and James McCown of Hobe Sound, FL, sisters: Donna Malotke of Sterling Heights, MI and Barbara Payne of Clinton Township, MI, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home Alabama with Bro. Jerry Smith and Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
