Bonnie Marie Burns, 82, of Florence, died Jan. 31, 2015, at ECM Hospital following an extended illness. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at Hendrix Chapel church of Christ. The funeral will be held on Tuesday in the church beginning at 2 p.m. with Wayne Wood, Claudie Jones and Dylan Sharp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Burns was a native of Wayne County, Tennessee, and a member of Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents, David and Hettie Holt Henson; brothers, James Henson and William Henson; sister, Virginia Henson; grandson, Will Burns. She is survived by her husband, Waford Burns; son, Harold Burns (Patricia), Florence; daughter, Karla Burns, Florence; brother, Leroy Henson, Leoma, Tennessee; grandchildren, Benji Burns, and Heather Burns, both of Florence; great-grandchildren, Keeven Burns and Brax Vickery.
Pallbearers will be J. W. Pruitt, Jackie Burbank, Leo Melton, Daniel Duke, Benji Burns and Jeremy Bates. Honorary pallbearers will be all the men at Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ
