Florissa Ruth Rodgers age 84 of Somerville, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Rodgers was born July 23, 1930 in Alabama to Daniel Payne and Elizabeth Embry Payne.
Services for Mrs. Rodgers are Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens with Robert Fudge officiating.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.M. Rodgers; sister, Tena Abernathy; brothers, Jason Payne and Nolan Payne.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Rodgers and wife Linda; sister, Deborah Dubois; brother, Edward Payne.
Pallbearers are Clint Rodgers, Logan Rodgers, Chancey Dubois, Dwight McNatt, Joel Lynn and Bob Brooks.
