Lila “Sis” Borden, 87, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Ms. Borden was retired from the Iuka Shirt Factory. She loved doing yard work and gardening. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 Saturday, January 31, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Dr. Tony Curtis. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include two brothers, Billy Joe Borden (Peggy) and Floyd Burt Borden (Sue), and one sister, Barbara Johnson, all of Iuka; nine nephews; and five nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tilfered and Mattie Perry Borden; a brother, J. T. Borden; and a sister, Ruthie Julen.
