Billy Edward Shepherd, 90, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at NMMC in Tupelo. He was born August 24, 1924 to the late William Barnes Shepherd and the late Ethel Lou Gardner Shepherd. He retired from P.G. & E. after 36 years of service. He was a member of Plainview Church of Christ. He enjoyed golfing and he dearly loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Phyllis Shepherd of Fulton; Daughters: Linda (Juan) Boquet of Fredericksburg, VA, Joan (Jerene) Fikes of Fulton, Cristina (Don) Donley of Skyvalley, CA; Granddaughters: Sherry (Steve) Allsup, Tracy (John) Anderson, Marsha (Greg) Jones, and Leah (Andrew) Case, Grandsons: Paul (Danea’) Boquet, Lee Boquet, and Andy Garrerro, Great-grandchildren: Olivia Jones, Zachary and McKinley Anderson, Brea and Gage Boquet, Mattie Beth, Lillie Kate and Sadie Grace Allsup; Sister, Imogene Backens of Rohnert Park, CA.
Preceded in death by his parents, Sister, Lucille Posey, and a Great-grandson, Barrett Anderson.
Pallbearers are Paul Boquet, Lee Boquet, Greg Jones, Steve Allsup, Andrew Case, and John Anderson.
