FLORENCE-The Florence Police have arrested one man on suspicion of burglary a burglary that took place on Monday, January 19th.  Here is how the Florence Police describe the event:

“Local Man Jailed In Early Morning Burglary; Florence Police arrested William Brian Glidden, 28, of Sheffield this morning following an alarm call at Always Money in the 200 block of Cox Creek Parkway. Reports show that officers responded to the business following an alarm shortly before 7am this morning. As officers arrived they found damage to the building and a man inside. The man, later identified as Glidden, fled the scene and attempted to enter a vehicle prior to being taken into custody by Officers Mark Senf and Jason Novak. Glidden was charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglars Tools, and Resisting Arrest. He is currently in the custody of the LCDC.
