Peter, age 73, died on January 16, 2015. He was born and attended school in New Jersey and served in the U.S. Army at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Prior to moving to Decatur, he resided for over 30 years in Delray Beach, Florida.

Peter traveled extensively throughout the world and freely shared anecdotes related to places he had visited. His main interest was as a mentor to his son and grandsons. He followed their athletic events faithfully rarely missing a practice or a game. He was generous with his praise for their accomplishments. Those who came to know Peter appreciated his ready humor and his willingness to be a helpful friend and neighbor.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Dixie Youth Baseball, P.O. Box 2675, Decatur, AL 35602.
