Lendell B. Lamar, 81, of Anderson, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at his residence. He was a member of Blackburn Road Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Blackburn Road Baptist Church with Greg Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryce Romine, Charles Bullard, Larry Rose, Don Hill, Randy Bassham, and James Edward.
Lendell was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lamar and Martha Moore, father-in-law, Hans Druschel, and sister, Hattie Mae White.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Lamar; sister, Florene Hill; mother-in-law, Vonda Lee Druschel; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Eric) Thigpen and Tina Elmore; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
