FLORENCE-There is a new Sheriff in town. Rick Singleton was sworn in as Sheriff of Lauderdale County on Sunday, January 18, 2015 along with Chief Deputy Richard Richey.
Singleton was sworn in Judge Jones courtroom at the Lauderdale County Courthouse in front of a standing room only crowd. There was a reception in the Sheriff’s Office following the ceremony.
