Billy R. Weatherby, 85, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, January 18, 2015. His visitation will be Tuesday, January 20th, from 12 noon until 2 PM at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Steve Condra officiating. Burial will follow in Guy Cemetery.
Mr. Weatherby was a native of Tuscumbia, Alabama. He was a retired insurance salesman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shan Kimbrell. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and dog lover.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lillian Weatherby; son, Curtis Weatherby; daughters, Carole Weatherby Stewart and husband John; Cathy Weatherby McKleroy and husband Doug; and Christy Weatherby Prendergast and husband John; grandchildren, Amy Henry and husband Donovan; Mandy Dickerscheid and husband Jay; Michael McKleroy and wife Emily; Nicholas Weatherby; Will Weatherby; and Adam Prendergast; great-grandchildren, Emma; Evan; and Deklan.
Pallbearers will be Steve Weatherby, Ronnie Weatherby, Michael McKleroy, Steve Eason, Ray Rickard, and Kevin Thompson.
