Robert Lee Langham was born December 31, 1940, the first of ten children born to the late Roy Langham Sr. and Bertha Harris Langham of Town Creek, AL. He was preceded in death by a brother; Donald Langham and sisters; Bobbie Jean Perkins and Geraldine Newsome, father and mother in law; Leroy and Annie Mae Almon, brother in law; Leo Almon, maternal grandparents; Robert and Sallie Mae Harris and paternal grandparents; Willie and Annie Langham.
Robert Lee accepted Christ at an early age and joined Macedonia M.B. Church of Town Creek. He graduated from Central High School in 1960. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 21 years. Robert Lee was a proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Robert Lee leaves a devoted wife of 50 years, Curlie Mae Langham, six children; Ronald Langham of Kansas City, MO, Robert N. Langham (Regenetta) of Arlington, TX, Katrina Little of Town Creek, AL, Marcus Langham (Georgia) of Collinston, LA, Serina Langham of Florence, AL and Marvin Langham (Janice) of Florence, AL, grandchildren; Tarrashea, Jalen, Yetta, Shauvante’, Tamira, Indya, Kaydrick, Joya, Jaylin, Jakyra, Zarrian, Layla, Tyrese, Morgan, Auree, great grandchildren; Jai’ Yanna, X’Zayviun and De’Quriun, his mother; Bertha L. Langham of Town Creek,, AL, two sisters; Annie Neloms and Bertha Jones, four brothers; Rev. Lee Langham (Joann), Willie B. Langham, Steven Langham (Carolyn) and a dedicated brother; Roy Langham (Nadine), sister in laws; Modean Steward and Ruby Jones and brother in laws; Travis Almon, Otis Almon and Nathaniel Almon (Mary) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
