Richard Donald “Rick” Davis, age 62, of Florence, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, January 15, 2015. His funeral service will be Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, with Jeff Newton officiating.
Rick was a Sheffield native and a member of Woodmont Baptist Church. He was known as a good and kind man to all. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brynn Nicole Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Davis; sons, Richard Daniel Davis, Lucas Vann Davis; daughters, Christina Clarissa Davis, Vivien Leigh Hovater; brothers, Jack Davis, David Davis and fourteen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or local VFW.
