Milton Lamar Murrah, 89, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Iuka. He was a member of Iuka Baptist Church, as well as a member of the IBEW Local #852. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and wagon riding. Visitation is scheduled for 11 AM until 2 PM on Thursday, January 15 at Iuka Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Jim Manley, Bro. Eric Smith, and Ben McAnally. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Earl Walker, Hosie Thorne, Gary Bullard, Bobby Gist, Tucker Russell, Pete Walker, and Don Hopewell. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 1 daughter – Donna McAnally (Buddy) of Iuka; 2 sons – David Murrah (Cindy) and Mike Murrah, both of Iuka; 1 sister – Edith Hall of New Albany; 6 grandchildren – Brandon McAnally (Paula), Benjamin McAnally (Anna), Chris Murrah (Sondra), Dustin Smith (Stephanie), Eric Smith (Krystal), and LeeAnn Murrah; and 7 great grandchildren – Maddison McAnally, Sophie McAnally, Macie McAnally, Charlie McAnally, Sloan McAnally, Nolan Smith, and Weathers Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willene Hanson Murray; his parents, Ulysses Erskine and Mary Bibb Sloan Murrah; his daughter in law, Debbie Murrah; 4 brothers – Ellis, Eric, Ralph and Roy Travis Murrah; and 2 sisters – Elizabeth Morton and Rivers Robertson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iuka Baptist Church Music Fund, or to wiuka-lp Christian Radio at 111 North Main Street, Iuka, MS 38852.
