Sylvia Sue Jernigan, age 76, of Huntsville, died on Saturday January 3, 2015.
Mrs. Jernigan is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Jernigan; her son, Gregory Wayne Jernigan; and her parents, Loney and Jewel Bean Helms.
Mrs. Jernigan is survived by her brother, Larry Helms and wife Joan; her sister in law, Nancy Helms; her daughter in law, Janie Jernigan Faul; numerous nieces and nephews; and her friends and co-workers at Professional Carriers.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday January 7, 2015 at 7pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Mark Henry will officiate.The family will receive friends on that day from 6pm until 7pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and care givers of Gentiva Hospice.
