Joetta M. McComas, 85, of Toney, passed away Thursday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. McComas, and a daughter, Marianne P. McComas. Mrs. McComas volunteered for Morris Elementary School before and after her years of working as an RN.
Survivors include sons, Michael D. McComas and wife, Susan, of Toney and Brian D. McComas and wife, Stacey, of Birmingham; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, John McGinty and wife, Nancy, of Oak Ridge, TN.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Michael Clark officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
