Mrs. Fullerton was employed as a stores record clerk by TVA. After many years of employment she became active in the TVA retirees association for whom she and her husband performed volunteer work in state and federal parks throughout the nation. She lived most of her life in Florence, Alabama prior to her move to Georgia. She was a member of a garden club and the Florence Music Club. She enjoyed traveling across the United States, Canada, and Europe. She was witty and quick to find humor in almost any situation. Late in life, she thought every day was Sunday and rejoiced in that behalf.
