Terrel Kenny “Ken”Ingram of Decatur, Al. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 12-29-14 after a brief illness. Ken was born on June 22, 1950 in Huntsville, Al. Ken graduated from Lee High School in Huntsville in 1969. He served in the US Navy and The Marines for 4 years. He was a faithful employee of PPG Industries for 38 years. Ken was a very active member of Calvary Assembly for 25 years, where he and his wife, Katherine served faithfully as ushers. Recently they became involved in Elevate . They were also choir members in the past for many years. They had also been Connect Group leaders, Youth sponsors and involved in Evangelism Explosion in years past. They enjoyed doing many things together as a couple. They really enjoyed spending time together with their grandchildren. Since Ken’s retirement 2 years ago, he enjoyed helping Monte Sittre with many different handyman jobs around both of Calvary Assembly’s campuses. Ken was a very loving, Godly husband and father. He was proud to be a Fivestar Man. Ken was loved by all those whose lives he touched. He has left his family a beautiful legacy. He was a humble man and had the heart of a servant leader. Ken is survived by his wife, Katherine Alice Ingram, his daughter Katherine Jasmine Celeste Ingram, his mother, Verna Irene Ingram , his sister, Linda Ingram Jennings, and his daughter, Michele Peterson-Mays. He is also survived by his step-son, Jason Howell Martin ( Kathryne), and 5 grandchildren, Warren, Bryson, Evelyn, Mikayla, and T.J. Memorial service will take place Saturday, Jan. 3 at 3 pm at Calvary Assembly on the Beltline. Family will receive friends prior to service from 1pm – 3 pm , also at the church. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family. Family requests donations be made to : Lawrence County Dream Center , 1413 Glenn St SW, Decatur, Al 35601, in lieu of flowers .
