Nancy Crockett Hollis, 79, of Florence, died Wednesday December 31, 2014, in Florence. Visitation will begin at 11am Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1pm in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Hollis Cemetery, Holly Creek, TN.
Mrs. Hollis was born in Oklahoma but was raised in Sheffield where she graduated from Sheffield High School. She was a member of Parkway Methodist Church and was retired from the Lauderdale County Board of Education as secretary for the superintendent.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Christene Crockett and her husband, Norman Hollis. She is survived by her sons, Blair Hollis (Barbara), Columbia, TN, Lee Hollis (Sandra), Florence, and David Paul Hollis (Tammy), Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Bobby Hollis, Ashley Hollis Everett(Evan), Brandon Hollis, Dalaney Hollis and Weston Hollis; great-grandchild, Taryn Hollis; also, a special aunt and uncle, Bob and Betty Haynes. Pallbearers will be Bobby Hollis, Brandon Hollis, Evan Everett, Mark Henderson , Darrell West and Ed Grissom.
