Funeral service for Barbara Fay Vinson, 74, will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Josh Sparkman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Vinson died on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born May 11, 1940, in Morgan County to John Paul Puckett and Tennie Layton Puckett. She worked in the housekeeping department for Summerford Nursing Home. Mrs. Vinson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters: Charlene Mitchell and Vicky Wood and a brother: Bobby Puckett.
